Project Overview
We were commissioned to refurbish French Connection’s Guildford store with a focus on layout improvements, decorative updates, and stylish finishes that reflect the brand’s identity. The works included new partitioning, tailored electrical updates, modern wall cladding, and a complete internal and external redecoration.
Scope of Works
Partitioning & Structural Adjustments

Built new partitions to create changing rooms and boxed in existing columns for a clean and seamless layout.

Installed access panels to allow future maintenance access to ceiling voids and wall cavities.

Repaired areas of the plasterboard ceiling, ensuring a flawless finish throughout.
Decorating – Internal & External

Fully redecorated the shopfront in the brand’s RAL colour, giving the exterior a sharp, branded look.

Internally, we decorated all walls, ceilings, skirtings, and woodwork.

Applied matching paint to the timber fixing battens so they blended in with the finished walls.
Feature Wall Finish

Installed white contemporary Acupanel slat wall panels to the built-out column behind the cash desk for a striking feature that elevates the store’s visual appeal.
Electrical Alterations

Adjusted all power and lighting layouts to suit the new store configuration, ensuring everything was functional and positioned for optimal display and customer experience.
Shop Fittings Installation

Installed shopfitting elements throughout, including:

Perimeter displays with reinforced support.

Timber fixing battens to provide a secure and stable fixing point for fittings.
