Project Overview

We were asked to help the client plan and design the optimal layout for their main reception and front-of-house areas. The project aimed to increase security for staff while maintaining an open, welcoming environment for visitors.

Scope of Works

  • Supply and installation of single-glazed frameless glass partitions across reception areas

  • Glass doors integrated into the partitions for staff access

  • Custom-shaped glass designed to fit around and over existing reception furniture, including bespoke cut-outs and high-level speaking holes for safe interaction

  • Reception furniture adjustments carried out to suit the new layout

Specification Highlights:

  • Glass: 10mm clear toughened safety glass, compliant with UK Building Regulations

  • Doors: Single-glass doors, self-closing with access control

  • Finish: Aluminium framework in RAL 9006 (Grey)

  • Safety manifestation: Two rows of 50mm dots/squares to comply with regulations
